We are a family-oriented operation, and our guides take extra care of our "little adventurers." Children are closely supervised throughout the entire journey to ensure they are safe and having the time of their lives while you enjoy the scenery. We know that travel plans can be unpredictable. We offer a full refund for any cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance. If we are forced to cancel the tour due to extreme weather conditions or safety concerns, you will have the choice between rescheduling or receiving a 100% refund. Our guides are professionally trained in swift-water rescue and first aid. Before hitting the water, we provide a thorough safety briefing so you feel confident and ready to enjoy the river. You’re in expert hands!

In Costa Rica, we call rain "liquid sunshine!" A tropical shower is part of the authentic rainforest experience and actually makes river tubing Costa Rica even more refreshing. We do not cancel for light or moderate rain. However, if there is heavy rain that affects river levels or if there is lightning, we will suspend the tour for your safety. In those cases, we’ll help you reschedule or provide a refund. Pura Vida means going with the flow!

To have the best experience during your rio celeste tubing adventure, we recommend the following:

• Footwear: You must wear closed-toe shoes that can get wet (water shoes or old sneakers). We do not allow flip-flops because they easily float away in the current.
• Clothing: Wear lightweight, quick-dry clothing like athletic shorts and a rash guard. Avoid denim, as it becomes very heavy when wet.
• Pro Tip: Bring a towel and a change of dry clothes for after the tour—you'll thank us later!

Not necessarily! Our professional life jackets are designed to keep you floating effortlessly during your Costa Rica tubing trip. While you should feel comfortable being in the water, our guides are always nearby to assist you through the swifter sections of the river. This is a "fun-for-everyone" activity, regardless of your swimming level.

We’ve got you covered. You can leave your dry clothes, car keys, and valuables at our secure base station. We strongly advise not bringing anything onto the river that isn't waterproof or that could sink. Relax and disconnect during your Rio Celeste river tubing experience; we’ll keep your gear safe while you’re splashing around.

While rafting involves a large group in one big boat, river tubing Costa Rica is all about individual freedom. You are the captain of your own "donut" (individual tube). It allows you to feel the river's movement much more closely and gives you a unique perspective of the surrounding jungle. No, the National Park entrance fee is not included. It’s important to know that swimming is strictly prohibited inside the National Park boundaries. Our Rio Celeste Costa Rica tubing tour takes place on a stunning private section of the river just outside the park. Here, you get the same magical turquoise water but with the freedom to actually jump in! Most guests visit the Park's trails in the morning and join us for tubing in the afternoon for the ultimate day trip.
